Behavioral Based Interviewing

This session gives participants hands-on practice applying Behavior-Based Interviewing principles and tools so they can develop and ask effective behavioral questions, conduct interactive interviews, and, if needed, participate in a team-based interviewing process.

Curriculum

This session is intended to provide participants with an opportunity to practice and apply BBI principles and tools. Participants will practice conducting interviews. A team based interviewing methodology can be included if requested.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

 

  • Utilize proven Behavior Based Interviewing techniques to interview job candidates
  • Select and write appropriate Behavioral Based interview questions based on the job description, position requirements, required capabilities, and candidate experience
  • Conduct interactive Behavioral Based Interviews
  • Participate in the team structured interview process (if applicable)

This course is intended for managers / supervisors who want to improve their skills in the area of interviewing.
